Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vikhtsi's Rando Vanaots started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 9 played minutes Vikhtsi got a freekick which was hit by Heiko Ess. When Mark Alasoo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vikhtsi's protests and gave Mark Alasoo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vikhtsi's Mark Alasoo got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, SK Huuru's Arvo Niitsoo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vikhtsi's Voldemar Virve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmo Lutsar in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmo Lutsar in the 19th minute of play forced Vikhtsi's goalkeeper Voldemar Virve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmo Lutsar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Voldemar Virve having to interfere. When Vikhtsi's Rando Vanaots in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Huuru's goalie prevented a goal. SK Huuru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikhtsi the free kick. A collision led to SK Huuru getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Egon Intel hit a great ball. After the first half SK Huuru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Voldemar Virve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmo Lutsar in the 52nd minute of play. After 58 minutes, Joel Lukas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Huuru and the Vikhtsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SK Huuru getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Joel Lukas hit a great ball. Jaak Ülenõmm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aivar Virve having to make a save. When Heiko Ess came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vikhtsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Ess couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Jaak Ülenõmm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikhtsi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaak Ülenõmm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aivar Virve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Vikhtsi booed when SK Huuru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Lätte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes SK Huuru got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Lätte. In the 73rd match minute, SK Huuru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Lätte to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Heiko Ess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivar Virve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Heiko Ess came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Vikhtsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Ess couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SK Huuru booed when Vikhtsi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Alasoo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
