Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Üllar Neppi started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in White Lion's zone, Heino Maamägi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eerik Ojakäär came out of the goal and Heino Maamägi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the game, one of White Lion:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leopold Kalev walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Elmar Rännu fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White Lion's protests and gave Elmar Rännu a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for White Lion! Kris Pilvistu's late challenge caught a FC Vastja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kris Pilvistu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to White Lion getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kris Pilvistu hit a great ball. Üllar Neppi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eerik Ojakäär showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heino Maamägi, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raivo Ise to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Vastja booed when White Lion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ando Roosipuu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, White Lion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Pilvistu to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, FC Vastja's Leopold Kalev broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. White Lion's Eerik Ojakäär played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raivo Ise in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over FC Vastja could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than White Lion throughout the match.
