When Julius Kampus fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Vastja's protests and gave Julius Kampus a yellow card for diving instead. Julius Kampus hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Aivo Murulauk, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th minute Raul Ülisoo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taavet Oksa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Ülisoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavet Oksa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Vastja's zone, Raul Ülisoo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taavet Oksa came out of the goal and Raul Ülisoo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hendrik Veenpere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raivo Ise in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vello Karikas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taavet Oksa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Roland Maasik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taavet Oksa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vello Karikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Ülisoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hendrik Veenpere made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heino Maamägi in the 39th minute. Raul Ülisoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavet Oksa having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raivo Ise in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hendrik Veenpere saved FC Rangle from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vello Karikas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Rangle's Hendrik Veenpere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heino Maamägi in the 61st minute of play. Raul Ülisoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taavet Oksa having to interfere. Heino Maamägi struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hendrik Veenpere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Vastja. Raul Ülisoo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Taavet Oksa made a huge save. With a little luck, FC Vastja's Taavet Oksa got control of the ball when Raul Ülisoo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raivo Ise in the 75th minute of play forced FC Rangle's goalkeeper Hendrik Veenpere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roland Maasik was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. 79 minutes into the match, Heino Maamägi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hendrik Veenpere. FC Rangle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heino Maamägi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A hard shot 83 in the game by Raul Ülisoo from a close distance when the talented Taavet Oksa managed to make a qualified save. FC Vastja's players were relieved. Raivo Ise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Raivo Ise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik Veenpere having to interfere. FC Vastja's Hannes Treu got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
