The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Valdur Raadel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermo Kravik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 5th minute, Maarek Kallis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heldur Varblane struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ermo Kravik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kassinurme. After 9 minutes of play, Kassinurme's Sten Mustkivi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermo Kravik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heino Uibomäe kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Kalmer Harand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Org struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Mario Maidsaar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Myaekyali. A collision led to Myaekyali getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Markus Org hit a great ball. If Mattias Ratassepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Markus Org received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mario Maidsaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kaupo Raju might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Maidsaar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kaupo Raju ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Mario Maidsaar managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Myaekyali's Markus Org fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kassinurme's Mario Maidsaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaupo Raju in the 35th minute of play. When Myaekyali's Kaupo Raju in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kassinurme's goalie prevented a goal. Markus Org received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mario Maidsaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Mustkivi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ain Valdre charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ain Valdre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Eiko Rännu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kassinurme's Mario Maidsaar didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Org in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Maidsaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Kaupo Raju managed to get in a good position for a shot. Myaekyali's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaupo Raju was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Maidsaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaupo Raju in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Maidsaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Heino Uibomäe fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kassinurme's protests and gave Heino Uibomäe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Kassinurme was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heino Uibomäe to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Eiko Rännu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Maidsaar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Kaupo Raju got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 played minutes Kassinurme got a freekick which was hit by Heldur Varblane. Mario Maidsaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaupo Raju in the 90th minute of the match. Mario Maidsaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Org in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Org in the 93rd minute of play forced Kassinurme's goalkeeper Mario Maidsaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Mattias Ratassepp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kassinurme's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Ratassepp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Myaekyali lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
