After 29 minutes, Raivo Lemming mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nassuma and the Sepise players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nassuma's Heiki Lõiv proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Nassuma from getting a goal against them. Andri Olop struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Gert Uluots didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nassuma. When Egon Lehtmäe fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sepise's protests and gave Egon Lehtmäe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sepise getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Egon Lehtmäe hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Ülo Haavel put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gert Uluots. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andri Olop made a kick off. If Arni Allikvee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nassuma's goalkeeper Heiki Lõiv, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sepise's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
