Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steve Viispert kicked off to start the match. Ülo Stroom didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Maearu's Juhan Hindpere shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 5th minute, Bruno Saareleht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juhan Hindpere took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ülo Stroom. Ülo Stroom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ülo Stroom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve Viispert's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Kert Honga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ülo Stroom. SK Kiilaspere's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, SK Kiilaspere's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Viispert came free, but Ülo Stroom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Väino Saar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Kiilaspere fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Villem Lumi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villu Väljaste, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Kert Honga kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, SK Kiilaspere's Thomas Ütt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Juhan Hindpere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SK Kiilaspere's zone, Steve Viispert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ülo Stroom came out of the goal and Steve Viispert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Taavi Inno charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taavi Inno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maearu booed when SK Kiilaspere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taavi Inno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Villu Väljaste was the one to do the kick off. Villem Lumi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villu Väljaste in the 51st minute of play. Maearu's Villem Lumi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Maearu from getting a goal against them. Ülo Stroom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Viispert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 57 in the game by Väino Saar from a close distance when the talented Villem Lumi managed to make a qualified save. Maearu's players were relieved. When Tanel Vanamets fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Kiilaspere's protests and gave Tanel Vanamets a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, SK Kiilaspere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanel Vanamets to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the SK Kiilaspere defense, Steve Viispert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ülo Stroom. The SK Kiilaspere fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ülo Stroom should have stopped the shot. Villem Lumi made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Väino Saar sent off a good shot on target. Steve Viispert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ülo Stroom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villu Väljaste in the 76th minute of play forced Maearu's goalkeeper Villem Lumi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SK Kiilaspere's zone, Hannes Pärn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ülo Stroom came out of the goal and Hannes Pärn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ülo Stroom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juhan Hindpere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juhan Hindpere in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ülo Stroom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Viispert in the 92nd minute of play forced SK Kiilaspere's goalkeeper Ülo Stroom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Viispert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Maearu were the better team. Maearu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
