The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sulev Luht kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When SK Kuyvaste's Elar Arula, in the 8th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for SK Kuyvaste. Tammuna's Ivari Kaljus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Tammuna from getting a goal against them. Evald Heintalu struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ivari Kaljus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Kuyvaste. The supporters of Tammuna booed when SK Kuyvaste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Viilop didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, Tammuna's Villem Nigol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hendrik Veedla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tammuna reached it. Hendrik Veedla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endel Leemet in the 29th minute of play. If Kajar Kõiv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tammuna's zone, Elar Arula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivari Kaljus came out of the goal and Elar Arula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivari Kaljus was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Evald Heintalu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evald Heintalu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Evald Heintalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivari Kaljus made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Elar Arula sent off a good shot on target. Ivari Kaljus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evald Heintalu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Tammuna got a freekick which was hit by Üllo Alajaan. 44 minutes into the match, Tammuna's goal looked a bit too open when Evald Heintalu came free, but Ivari Kaljus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Evald Heintalu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elar Arula in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivari Kaljus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 played minutes Tammuna got a freekick which was hit by Sulev Luht. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Kuyvaste's goalkeeper Hendrik Veedla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kajar Kõiv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik Veedla having to interfere. Ivari Kaljus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evald Heintalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Evald Heintalu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Endel Leemet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hendrik Veedla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evald Heintalu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivari Kaljus having to interfere. Ivari Kaljus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evald Heintalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Arthur Saareleht fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Kuyvaste's protests and gave Arthur Saareleht a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SK Kuyvaste's Arthur Saareleht got a free kick in the 85th minute. Endel Leemet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hendrik Veedla came out and tried to block the shot, but Endel Leemet slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 88th minute. The supporters of SK Kuyvaste booed when Tammuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarek Ainsoo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Tammuna got a freekick which was hit by Sulev Luht. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
