Kungi's Ain Talumets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Lahe in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Kungi getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hendrik Üleoja hit a great ball. With his leg Ivari Lilleorg managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Kungi's Teet Lillemets fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivari Lilleorg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aksel Laur, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Teet Lillemets's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivari Lilleorg firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Oela's Ivari Lilleorg got control of the ball when Teet Lillemets tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aksel Laur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Oela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kungi:s goal. In the 59th minute, Aksel Laur made a precise shot to the right of Ivari Lilleorg. Oela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Aksel Laur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivari Lilleorg was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aksel Laur in the 67th minute of play forced Oela's goalkeeper Ivari Lilleorg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivari Lilleorg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aksel Laur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvo Urbalu might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivari Lilleorg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arvo Urbalu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Teet Lillemets came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Kungi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teet Lillemets couldn't finish the play. Aksel Laur struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Ivari Lilleorg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kungi. Gunnar Lahe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aksel Laur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
