The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kiur Alev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rando Vahtre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Manija got a freekick which was hit by Tarvi Haugas. Enar Uudekülg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Bert Mari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tarvi Haugas's late challenge caught a JK Baste Kogimyae's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarvi Haugas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Manija's Tarvi Haugas got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mairo Tihumets might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bert Mari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mairo Tihumets ran back to his position shaking his head. Enar Uudekülg might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bert Mari. Bert Mari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mairo Tihumets's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Tarvi Haugas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Manija's Bert Mari got control of the ball when Virgo Vellend tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, Mairo Tihumets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bert Mari was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bert Mari came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by JK Baste Kogimyae's Mairo Tihumets. But to his dismay, Mairo Tihumets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Mairo Tihumets put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bert Mari. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mairo Tihumets in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bert Mari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Villu Rihma fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manija's protests and gave Villu Rihma a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Villu Rihma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes, JK Baste Kogimyae's Virgo Vellend shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bert Mari came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JK Baste Kogimyae reached it. After 76 played minutes Manija got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Valdre. When Enar Uudekülg came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the JK Baste Kogimyae fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enar Uudekülg couldn't finish the play. Manija's Kiur Alev got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pavel Kaar hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mairo Tihumets sped through Manija's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bert Mari. 86 minutes into the match, Mairo Tihumets notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Manija's Bert Mari. Bert Mari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maido Vaarandi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiur Alev in the 95th minute of play forced JK Baste Kogimyae's goalkeeper Rando Vahtre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the JK Baste Kogimyae players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
