If Tarmo Vinter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haarald Valmas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Kert Müürsepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Haarald Valmas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Okhtu's supporters rose to their feet, but Haarald Valmas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kert Müürsepp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heigo Remme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Kiisk in the 28th minute of play forced Iruste's goalkeeper Kert Müürsepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iruste's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mihkel Nuume ran over to the corner to take the kick. Okhtu's Mihkel Nuume was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kert Müürsepp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Heigo Remme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iruste's goalkeeper Kert Müürsepp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 99th minute Lembit Lusik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Märt Roosimägi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
