Aapo Välk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Etii went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pio fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Enno Liik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joel Kaldur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Enno Liik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Joel Kaldur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endel Talviste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tom Etii fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koogu's protests and gave Tom Etii a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Koogu got a freekick which was hit by Tom Etii. Valdo Jaska received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Aapo Välk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Endel Talviste made a kick off. When Pio's Endel Talviste in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Koogu's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Jaska in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aapo Välk saved Pio from getting behind. In the 64th minute, Kaur Keskrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aapo Välk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdo Jaska, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Endel Talviste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Kaldur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pio's Endel Talviste in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Koogu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute, Endel Talviste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Endel Talviste took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Joel Kaldur to make any attempt to save it. Valdo Jaska scored 3-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aapo Välk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tom Etii blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aapo Välk having to make a save. Koogu's Valdo Jaska got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valdo Jaska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Valdo Jaska made a precise shot to the right of Aapo Välk. Pio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Koogu.
