But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Joost Flocquier couldn't finish the play. Ali Mäkitalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crawford Mudie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Doctor's Maarek Jaama in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Tsernobõl's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Joost Flocquier in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vânderson Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the game, FC Tsernobõl's Jan-Joost Flocquier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vânderson Pena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Jan-Joost Flocquier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vânderson Pena. Jan-Joost Flocquier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 21st minute Neeme Juur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Mäkitalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Maarek Jaama's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Mäkitalo was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Jan-Joost Flocquier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Vânderson Pena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jan-Joost Flocquier in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vânderson Pena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maarek Jaama in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Mäkitalo saved FC Tsernobõl from getting behind. Ali Mäkitalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neeme Juur in the 41st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Maarek Jaama sped through FC Tsernobõl's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Mäkitalo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Doctor's Vânderson Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helger Korm in the 58th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, FC Tsernobõl's Helger Korm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vânderson Pena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Joost Flocquier in the 63rd minute of play forced Doctor's goalkeeper Vânderson Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jan-Joost Flocquier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th match minute, Doctor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crawford Mudie to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Joost Flocquier, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Vânderson Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Helger Korm in the 75th minute of the match. Long Stora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ali Mäkitalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Long Stora scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Mäkitalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
