Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Priamos Makrodimitris in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nykteus Mavromattes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agis Preftokis scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alkestis Maragos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nassos Triantafillou kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Agis Stamatas struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Alkestis Maragos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kómiton FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haimon Agelakos in the 16th minute of play forced Kastanéa BC's goalkeeper Alkestis Maragos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute of the match, Agis Stamatas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alkestis Maragos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Antonis Farmakis fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kastanéa BC's protests and gave Antonis Farmakis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kómiton FC booed when Kastanéa BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Farmakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agis Preftokis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Priamos Makrodimitris struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Nykteus Mavromattes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kastanéa BC. Iolaos Akrivopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nykteus Mavromattes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Kómiton FC's Haimon Agelakos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 47th minute, Aktaion Mitsinikos made a precise shot to the right of Nykteus Mavromattes. Kómiton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haimon Agelakos to make the kick off. If Nassos Triantafillou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkestis Maragos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haimon Agelakos in the 59th minute of play. Priamos Makrodimitris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Nykteus Mavromattes made a huge save. Priamos Makrodimitriss short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Nykteus Mavromattes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alkestis Maragos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agis Preftokis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kastanéa BC's Alkestis Maragos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haimon Agelakos in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, Kómiton FC's Nykteus Mavromattes got control of the ball when Aktaion Mitsinikos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nykteus Mavromattes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Priamos Makrodimitris in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Kolkhis Melonakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kastanéa BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kómiton FC the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Kastanéa BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kolkhis Melonakos to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Alekos Haritopoulos in the 75th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Alkestis Maragos's left hand side. Kastanéa BC's Alkestis Maragos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agis Stamatas in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Priamos Makrodimitris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kómiton FC's Thanos Paraskos got a free kick in the 81st minute. Kómiton FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Priamos Makrodimitris scored to the left of an out of position Nykteus Mavromattes, making the score, 2-3. In the 86th minute Agis Stamatas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkestis Maragos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stergios Kalogeria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Priamos Makrodimitris in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nykteus Mavromattes saved Kómiton FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Priamos Makrodimitris in the 92nd minute of play forced Kómiton FC's goalkeeper Nykteus Mavromattes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Nykteus Mavromattes managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Kastanéa BC's Priamos Makrodimitris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
