Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandros Katsourinis in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helios Diplarakos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kolonos Papoutsis's late challenge caught a PAOK FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kolonos Papoutsis helped the player get up and apologised. Alexandros Katsourinis succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Alexandros Katsourinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Helios Diplarakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes of play, PAOK FC's Ikarios Antonopoulos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helios Diplarakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Makareus Louverdis to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Békhros booed when PAOK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauke Savakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to PAOK FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Hector Vozoras hit a great ball. Euneos Vrettos charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Euneos Vrettos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ikarios Antonopoulos in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helios Diplarakos saved Békhros from getting behind. Euneos Vrettos was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Euneos Vrettos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Helios Moundalexakis didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Kimon Diamantopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ptolemeos Paitakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The PAOK FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Békhros had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
