Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos got the match started through his kick off. Hatake's Akastos Paraskevopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Takis Patrianakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos in the 5th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Marathon got a freekick which was hit by Leukothoe Atsidakos. Manolis Lillis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Takis Patrianakos. Marathon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Akastos Paraskevopoulos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. In the 15th match minute, Marathon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oileus Comino to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes Marathon got a freekick which was hit by Leukothoe Atsidakos. After recieving a nice pass, Hatake's Manolis Lillis tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos in the 27th minute of play forced Marathon's goalkeeper Takis Patrianakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Marathon's Takis Patrianakos got control of the ball when Akastos Paraskevopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oileus Comino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tityos Soukis having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Marathon's goalkeeper Takis Patrianakos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Akastos Paraskevopoulos. Akastos Paraskevopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Takis Patrianakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oileus Comino to make the kick off. Takis Patrianakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Akastos Paraskevopoulos's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Hatake's Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Leukothoe Atsidakos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marathon's protests and gave Leukothoe Atsidakos a yellow card for diving instead. Takis Patrianakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Akastos Paraskevopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Makhaon Paraskevopoulos during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marathon getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Makhaon Paraskevopoulos hit a great ball. Marathon's Takis Patrianakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos in the 79th minute of play. Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Takis Patrianakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Makhaon Harames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thorikos Chrysanthopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Patrianakos having to interfere. Takis Patrianakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akastos Paraskevopoulos in the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Hatake booed when Marathon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oileus Comino didn't get a good kick on the ball.
