With a little luck, ALKH LARNAKAS's Grigoris Georgas got control of the ball when Thanos Demakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paitouniá's Thanos Demakis got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amykos Demakis came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ALKH LARNAKAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amykos Demakis couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyknos Passas was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Paitouniá booed when ALKH LARNAKAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigoris Georgas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grigoris Georgas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanos Demakis in the 74th minute of the match.
