In the 60thth minute of the game Dioskouroi Touchakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apoel Nicosia F.C's Manos Vardakas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Orthros Angelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Vardakas having to interfere. Maroúlion BC had won after a very even match.
