Hector Vakros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Bilias in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Takis Karahalios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimosthenis Spiridakou was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Lykaon Antoniadis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimosthenis Spiridakou having to make a save. Takis Karahalios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Vakros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicias Nikolakopoulos in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Arnás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apsyrtos Andreoulakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Fanis Bilias made a precise shot to the right of Hector Vakros. Arnás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Aravissós's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Spiridakou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lykaon Antoniadis. Lykaon Antoniadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dimosthenis Spiridakou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aravissós's zone, Takis Karahalios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimosthenis Spiridakou came out of the goal and Takis Karahalios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laios Ruvelas charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laios Ruvelas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Aravissós got a freekick which was hit by Laios Ruvelas. 32 minutes into the game, Lykaon Antoniadis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dimosthenis Spiridakou. Lykaon Antoniadis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Takis Karahalios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimosthenis Spiridakou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Karahalios, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Hector Vakros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Bilias in the 54th minute of play. Laios Ruvelas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dimosthenis Spiridakou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Takis Karahalios's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The supporters of Arnás booed when Aravissós was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laios Ruvelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Lykaon Antoniadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arnás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lykaon Antoniadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aravissós's zone, Takis Karahalios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimosthenis Spiridakou came out of the goal and Takis Karahalios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lykaon Antoniadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Lykaon Antoniadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arnás's supporters rose to their feet, but Lykaon Antoniadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimosthenis Spiridakou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rdth minute of the game Kheiron Pezos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aravissós's Dimosthenis Spiridakou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arkas Rousses charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkas Rousses the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Nicias Nikolakopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Aravissós fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicias Nikolakopoulos couldn't finish the play. Fanis Bilias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Takis Karahalios made a precise shot to the right of Dimosthenis Spiridakou. Aravissós's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Dimosthenis Spiridakou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lykaon Antoniadis's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Takis Karahalios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimosthenis Spiridakou having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Arnás fully deserved thier win.
