Kephalos Tsogas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epeios Calogerakis having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Dimosthenis Dritsas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitaládhes and the Fotinós players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Dimosthenis Dritsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes, Fotinós's Dinekis Arvanitoyannis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daidalos Letsos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fotinós reached it. Epeios Calogerakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akamas Kakos in the 9th minute of play. Akamas Kakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Epeios Calogerakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Vitaládhes's Akamas Kakos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epeios Calogerakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 21 minutes, Kreon Tableriou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotinós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kreon Tableriou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vitaládhes's Daidalos Letsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kreon Tableriou in the 23rd minute of play. A beautiful save bye Vitaládhes's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Kreon Tableriou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fotinós's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitaládhes the free kick. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fotinós's goalkeeper Epeios Calogerakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Sakis Vrettos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Menios Kezdoglou to make the kick off. Akamas Kakos struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Epeios Calogerakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitaládhes. In the 54th minute, Fotinós's Giannis Galitsis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Akamas Kakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amykos Asikis charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amykos Asikis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amykos Asikis kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 90th play minute Alekos Ladas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daidalos Letsos. 1-3.
