Fanis Villas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Askanios Savakis in the 7th minute of the match. paok fs's Agesilaus Angelopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save paok fs from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Marios Rigatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agesilaus Angelopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Askanios Savakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fanis Villas having to make a save. Fanis Villas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iakobos Economides, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Askanios Savakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 32 minutes, Lykos Missiakos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. paok fs's Agesilaus Angelopoulos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. paok fs's Askanios Savakis got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lykos Missiakos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Askanios Savakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Askanios Savakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Villas having to interfere. Oileus Skandalis charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oileus Skandalis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 53 minutes into the game, one of AEK KOUKLION:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fanis Villas had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Kroios Christakis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tantalos Fitzios's late challenge caught a paok fs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tantalos Fitzios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Tantalos Fitzios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. paok fs's Agesilaus Angelopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lykos Missiakos in the 62nd minute of play. If Askanios Savakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Lykos Missiakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agesilaus Angelopoulos. paok fs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lykos Missiakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tantalos Fitzios was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 69 played minutes AEK KOUKLION got a freekick which was hit by Tantalos Fitzios. After having played for 70 minutes, Askanios Savakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. paok fs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Askanios Savakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fanis Villas made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Iakobos Economides sent off a good shot on target. If Askanios Savakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Iakobos Economides left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The paok fs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 82nd match minute, paok fs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themis Pagonis to maneuver through the defense. When Lykos Missiakos came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the AEK KOUKLION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lykos Missiakos couldn't finish the play. Askanios Savakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fanis Villas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, paok fs's Iakobos Economides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fanis Villas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fanis Villas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Askanios Savakis in the 92nd minute of play. AEK KOUKLION's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
