Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Learkhos Christakos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Xirochóri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laios Koustoubos to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Joaquin Mederi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Athletic Union Kiperounta's Lefteris Angelis got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Xirochóri's Timos Diakogeorgiou got a free kick in the 9th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Xirochóri's goal looked a bit too open when Lefteris Angelis came free, but Alkmaion Demakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Laios Koustoubos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maroš Tásler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Laios Koustoubos came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Xirochóri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laios Koustoubos couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Athletic Union Kiperounta getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lefteris Angelis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laios Koustoubos in the 19th minute of play forced Athletic Union Kiperounta's goalkeeper Maroš Tásler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laios Koustoubos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maroš Tásler having to interfere. Priamos Protopsaltis kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Mederi in the 27th minute of play forced Xirochóri's goalkeeper Alkmaion Demakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigoris Kalogeria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkmaion Demakis having to interfere. Joaquin Mederi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Athletic Union Kiperounta defense, Kolonos Tekosis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maroš Tásler. The Athletic Union Kiperounta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maroš Tásler should have stopped the shot. Grigoris Kalogeria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alkmaion Demakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The wind increased when Laios Koustoubos made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Xirochóri's Timos Diakogeorgiou got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Laios Koustoubos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Maroš Tásler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maroš Tásler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Priamos Protopsaltis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Xirochóri's zone, Grigoris Kalogeria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkmaion Demakis came out of the goal and Grigoris Kalogeria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maroš Tásler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kolonos Tekosis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigoris Kalogeria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkmaion Demakis having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Athletic Union Kiperounta got a freekick which was hit by Pavlos Patrianakos. When Kolonos Tekosis came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Xirochóri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kolonos Tekosis couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Learkhos Christakos in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Joaquin Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigoris Kalogeria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Alkmaion Demakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Athletic Union Kiperounta's zone, Laios Koustoubos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maroš Tásler came out of the goal and Laios Koustoubos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostas Kakos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Athletic Union Kiperounta failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
