Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deukalion Katsivalis ran back to his position shaking his head. Deukalion Katsivalis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Euneos Dounias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Deukalion Katsivalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Euneos Dounias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Nykteus Gravari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ganaíika FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Nykteus Gravari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ganaíika FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nykteus Gravari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Euneos Dounias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Learkhos Balouris kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Nykteus Gravari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Ganaíika FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Nomikos to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Zethos Karabatsos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Akastos Mavrostomos skillfully saved the ball. Euneos Dounias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nykteus Gravari's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 30 played minutes Andartikón FC got a freekick which was hit by Learkhos Balouris. In the 32nd minute of the match Ganaíika FC got a corner. Andartikón FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iphiklos Rozaklis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ganaíika FC's Iphiklos Rozaklis to fire away a dangerous shot which Euneos Dounias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ankaios Vrotsos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Akastos Mavrostomos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Deukalion Katsivalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telis Saatsakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akastos Mavrostomos having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telis Saatsakis during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 47 played minutes Andartikón FC got a freekick which was hit by Telis Saatsakis. After the first half Ganaíika FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deukalion Katsivalis to make the kick off. Deukalion Katsivalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nykteus Gravari's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Euneos Dounias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Andartikón FC defense, Deukalion Katsivalis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Euneos Dounias. The Andartikón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Euneos Dounias should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Andartikón FC's Euneos Dounias got control of the ball when Nykteus Gravari tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes in the game, Nykteus Gravari fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Euneos Dounias having to interfere. Euneos Dounias made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Nykteus Gravari sent off a good shot on target. If Deukalion Katsivalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Telis Saatsakis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Andartikón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telis Saatsakis couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the game, Andartikón FC's Ankaios Vrotsos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Akastos Mavrostomos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 95th minute, Andartikón FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Deukalion Katsivalis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Andartikón FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ganaíika FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ganaíika FC.
