Euneos Dounias came out of the goal and Lakis Pantelakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kadmos Angelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telis Saatsakis in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Telis Saatsakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kadmos Angelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ankaios Vrotsos in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asopos Grammatakakis in the 23rd minute of play forced Villagouries's goalkeeper Kadmos Angelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Villagouries's protests and gave Tolis Trampakoulos a yellow card for diving instead.
