Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ekhemos Kouropoulos started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Tsouknídha FC's Telis Panagopoulos got control of the ball when Phaiakes Taflambas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Akheloos Zaloumi might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apsyrtos Vrettos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Akheloos Zaloumi ran back to his position shaking his head. If Akheloos Zaloumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steaua Bucuresti's Phaiakes Taflambas got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Akheloos Zaloumi came free, but Apsyrtos Vrettos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akheloos Zaloumi struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Apsyrtos Vrettos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tsouknídha FC. 30 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Thorikos Gravari came free, but Apsyrtos Vrettos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thorikos Gravari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apsyrtos Vrettos having to make a save. After the first half Tsouknídha FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Akheloos Zaloumi made the kick off in the second half. Ekhemos Kouropoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telis Panagopoulos having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Tsouknídha FC got a freekick which was hit by Oinomoas Alexis. Apsyrtos Vrettos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akheloos Zaloumi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Tsouknídha FC's Thorikos Gravari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apsyrtos Vrettos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti's Makareus Bursinos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Phaiakes Taflambas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telis Panagopoulos having to interfere. Telis Panagopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phaiakes Taflambas in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekhemos Kouropoulos in the 81st minute of play forced Tsouknídha FC's goalkeeper Telis Panagopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thorikos Gravari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Steaua Bucuresti's zone, Akheloos Zaloumi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apsyrtos Vrettos came out of the goal and Akheloos Zaloumi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ekhemos Kouropoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Tsouknídha FC booed when Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekhemos Kouropoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apsyrtos Vrettos made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Thorikos Gravari sent off a good shot on target. Phaiakes Taflambas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Telis Panagopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
