After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Vasilis Sakelaris managed to get in a good position for a shot. APOLLON LIMASSOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasilis Sakelaris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkibiades Kotsiopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vasilis Sakelaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gylippus Anetakis's late challenge caught a APOLLON LIMASSOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gylippus Anetakis helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Alkibiades Kotsiopoulos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Seleykos Anetakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Fotiadis having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christos Fotiadis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gylippus Anetakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christos Fotiadis was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vasilis Sakelaris to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Vasilis Sakelaris notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Evropoúloi's Alkibiades Kotsiopoulos. Alkibiades Kotsiopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evropoúloi's Dinekis Fitzios pulled a muscle in his back after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rhesos Rigopoulos during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gylippus Anetakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christos Fotiadis made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gylippus Anetakis sent off a good shot on target. Gylippus Anetakis made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 64thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Christos Fotiadis would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After having played for 66 minutes, Gylippus Anetakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Evropoúloi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gylippus Anetakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Evropoúloi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavlos Karabatsos to maneuver through the defense. If Vasilis Sakelaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Stergios Grammatakakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The APOLLON LIMASSOL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Evropoúloi's zone, Vasilis Sakelaris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkibiades Kotsiopoulos came out of the goal and Vasilis Sakelaris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, APOLLON LIMASSOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasilis Sakelaris to maneuver through the defense. APOLLON LIMASSOL were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Evropoúloi for a fine match.
