Grigoris Mehalitsenos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aietes Koumaditis in the 6th minute of the match. When Iason Calpis came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Superb F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iason Calpis couldn't finish the play. When Menoikeus Rallis came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Makriniaís BC fans jumped to their feet. When Superb F.C.'s Iason Calpis in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Makriniaís BC's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 played minutes Superb F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Giannakakos. The crowd rose to their feet as Menoikeus Rallis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leukippos Karabachos. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Iason Calpis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoris Mehalitsenos having to interfere. Menoikeus Ralliss short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Leukippos Karabachos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rhesos Katsiavrias hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Menoikeus Rallis made a precise shot to the right of Leukippos Karabachos. Superb F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Makriniaís BC's Grigoris Mehalitsenos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Koustoubos in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Iason Calpis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Mehalitsenos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Rhesos Katsiavrias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Mehalitsenos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoris Mehalitsenos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilias Giannakakos in the 40th minute of play. Rhesos Katsiavrias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoris Mehalitsenos having to interfere. Iason Calpis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Grigoris Mehalitsenos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kreon Pagonis made a kick off. Makriniaís BC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Iason Calpis scored to the left of an out of position Grigoris Mehalitsenos, making the score, 2-2. 56 minutes into the game, Phoibos Asikis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Makriniaís BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Superb F.C. the free kick. It was beautiful to see Superb F.C.'s Giannis Koustoubos in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Grigoris Mehalitsenos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giannis Koustoubos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iason Calpis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Iason Calpis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Mehalitsenos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Makriniaís BC's goal looked a bit too open when Iason Calpis came free, but Grigoris Mehalitsenos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Iason Calpis made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Makriniaís BC's Grigoris Mehalitsenos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iason Calpis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigoris Mehalitsenos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iason Calpis in the 79th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Iason Calpis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigoris Mehalitsenos. Makriniaís BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iason Calpis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Iason Calpis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grigoris Mehalitsenos. Iason Calpis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5.
