Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Troizen Giangos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lynkeus Kreskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Takis Gazonas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amykos Karabatsos during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Amykos Karabatsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Troizen Giangos might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Takis Gazonas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Troizen Giangos ran back to his position shaking his head. Troizen Giangos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Takis Gazonas having to make a save. A collision led to Samothracia FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Aietes Kakavetsis hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Samothracia FC's zone, Troizen Giangos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Gazonas came out of the goal and Troizen Giangos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Samothracia FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Karóta FC:s goal. Laios Shinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Samothracia FC's zone, Troizen Giangos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Gazonas came out of the goal and Troizen Giangos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Laios Shinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ploutos Pappageorge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epeios Tyrovolas having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Lynkeus Kreskas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Samothracia FC's Takis Gazonas. Takis Gazonas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lynkeus Kreskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ploutos Pappageorge to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Troizen Giangos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takis Gazonas was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 53 minutes into the match, Samothracia FC's goalkeeper Takis Gazonas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lynkeus Kreskas. Troizen Giangos got in the 59th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Takis Gazonas handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Samothracia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Troizen Giangos came free, but Takis Gazonas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lynkeus Kreskas came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Karóta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lynkeus Kreskas couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Troizen Giangos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Troizen Giangos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Takis Gazonas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Gazonas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lynkeus Kreskas in the 80th minute. Troizen Giangos struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Takis Gazonas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karóta FC.
