The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lefteris Gavrilopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Xanthos Chronis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nontas Antonopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ptolemeos Bertsimas charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ptolemeos Bertsimas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Khalkiós BC got a freekick which was hit by Ptolemeos Bertsimas. If Kithairon Kourempes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Labdakos Strilakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Labdakos Strilakos ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Folégandhros getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gylippus Mousa hit a great ball. Xanthos Chronis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos made a huge save. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Labdakos Strilakos in the 25th minute of the match. Folégandhros's Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Labdakos Strilakos in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Khalkiós BC booed when Folégandhros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Mavrostomos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Xanthos Chronis sent off a good shot on target. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos stood somewhat misplaced when Xanthos Chronis came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. 40 minutes into the match, Folégandhros's goal looked a bit too open when Labdakos Strilakos came free, but Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes, Seleykos Kountouroudas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Khalkiós BC and the Folégandhros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Khalkiós BC's goal looked a bit too open when Lefteris Gavrilopoulos came free, but Kheiron Agelakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nontas Antonopoulos scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kheiron Agelakos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 played minutes Khalkiós BC got a freekick which was hit by Kithairon Kourempes. Xanthos Chronis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Labdakos Strilakos went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Khalkiós BC's goalkeeper Kheiron Agelakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Labdakos Strilakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Folégandhros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kroios Kouropoulos to maneuver through the defense. Labdakos Strilakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Khalkiós BC booed when Folégandhros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakis Kezdoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Khalkiós BC's goalkeeper Kheiron Agelakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Labdakos Strilakos notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Folégandhros's Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos. Xouthos Chrysanthopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th match minute, Folégandhros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kroios Kouropoulos to maneuver through the defense. Nontas Antonopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khalkiós BC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
