In the 8th minute of the match, Khariklo Christodoulou tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nassos Fitrakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Khariklo Christodoulou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khariklo Christodoulou in the 16th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Nassos Fitrakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Khariklo Christodoulou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nassos Fitrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nassos Fitrakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khariklo Christodoulou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radimír Nedbal struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Nassos Fitrakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kyperounda United. Nassos Fitrakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khariklo Christodoulou's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Khariklo Christodoulou in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nassos Fitrakis saved Arsenal from getting behind. In the 35th minute Radimír Nedbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nassos Fitrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Khariklo Christodoulou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassos Fitrakis having to interfere. Nassos Fitrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akontios Sousanis in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilias Koustoubos made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Khariklo Christodoulou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nassos Fitrakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Arsenal's Nassos Fitrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khariklo Christodoulou in the 60th minute of play. Khariklo Christodoulou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nassos Fitrakis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akastos Kaladosis in the 63rd minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Nassos Fitrakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kyperounda United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eumaios Lagidis hit a great ball. If Khariklo Christodoulou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Kyperounda United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eumaios Lagidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Khariklo Christodoulou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nassos Fitrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Khariklo Christodoulou in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nassos Fitrakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Khariklo Christodoulou came free, but Nassos Fitrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Khariklo Christodoulou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kyperounda United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khariklo Christodoulou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kyperounda United had played much better football throughout.
