Spiros Dioletis took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sokratis Vlachos. Sokratis Vlachos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Kyperounda United's Khariklo Christodoulou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aiakos Cholas. Aiakos Cholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 15th minute Khariklo Christodoulou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aiakos Cholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aiakos Cholas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khariklo Christodoulou's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Radimír Nedbal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kyperounda United's zone, Spiros Dioletis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sokratis Vlachos came out of the goal and Spiros Dioletis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Radimír Nedbal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aiakos Cholas, 3-1. Aiakos Cholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khariklo Christodoulou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timos Eatros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Akontios Sousanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aiakos Cholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khariklo Christodoulou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Gournoskítai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khariklo Christodoulou came free, but Aiakos Cholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aiakos Cholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akontios Sousanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Khariklo Christodoulou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaineus Petimezas was the one to do the kick off. After 56 minutes, Renos Horiatis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gournoskítai FC and the Kyperounda United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gournoskítai FC's Renos Horiatis got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th match minute, Gournoskítai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadmos Kouros to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kyperounda United booed when Gournoskítai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iphitos Milionis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kyperounda United's Khariklo Christodoulou in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Akastos Kaladosis might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aiakos Cholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aiakos Cholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Khariklo Christodoulou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gournoskítai FC's zone, Akastos Kaladosis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aiakos Cholas came out of the goal and Akastos Kaladosis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kyperounda United's Khariklo Christodoulou got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Kyperounda United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
