After a defensive mix-up in Lenosaíoi BC's zone, Dihnekis Stavropoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akheron Softhis came out of the goal and Dihnekis Stavropoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orthros Fitrakis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Laios Petimezas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Haimon Kalogeria made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laios Petimezas got free with Haimon Kalogeria in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lenosaíoi BC's goalkeeper Akheron Softhis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Dihnekis Stavropoulos made a precise shot to the right of Akheron Softhis. Lenosaíoi BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panagiotis Petridis to strike the kick off in the second half. Akheron Softhis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Koutsoubos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Orthros Fitrakis came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Lenosaíoi BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orthros Fitrakis couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Lambros Papoutsis put in a rough tackle. In the 86th minute, Lambros Papoutsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dihnekis Stavropoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Akheron Softhis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lenosaíoi BC's Akheron Softhis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dihnekis Stavropoulos in the 94th minute of play. Stathis Koutsoubos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
