The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Timos Vlachos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makareus Roros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timos Vlachos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Makareus Roros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kalkhas Panayiotopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makareus Roros having to interfere. Dhamnia BC's Laios Adamou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Dhamnia BC from getting a goal against them. Daidalos Kotsiopoulos scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laios Adamou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Simeon Beldekas's late challenge caught a Dhamnia BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simeon Beldekas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Androúsa FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Simeon Beldekas hit a great ball. Nassos Koutsoubos missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 16 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Makareus Roros right hand side. After 17 minutes, Kroios Roros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Androúsa FC and the Dhamnia BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Androúsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kroios Roros to maneuver through the defense. Makareus Roros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Vlachos in the 18th minute of the match. If Inakhos Spyridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Makareus Roros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalkhas Panayiotopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dhamnia BC's Kalkhas Panayiotopoulos in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 37th minute, Lynkeus Vrotsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daidalos Kotsiopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Laios Adamou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dhamnia BC's zone, Daidalos Kotsiopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laios Adamou came out of the goal and Daidalos Kotsiopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inakhos Spyridis got free with Laios Adamou in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daidalos Kotsiopoulos made a kick off. Ilias Tsaousidis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Salmakis Kouklakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laios Adamou. Dhamnia BC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Dhamnia BC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lynkeus Vrotsos hit a great ball. When Daidalos Kotsiopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Androúsa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daidalos Kotsiopoulos couldn't finish the play. Daidalos Kotsiopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Laios Adamou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Makareus Roros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalkhas Panayiotopoulos in the 75th minute of play. Inakhos Spyridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daidalos Kotsiopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laios Adamou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daidalos Kotsiopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Androúsa FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
