If Iakobos Gazonas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rhesos Pavli kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Timos Petrakos, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Iakobos Gazonas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ademtos Dimitriou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Briarios Calpis hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Iakobos Gazonas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ademtos Dimitriou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Ademtos Dimitriou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Telis in the 20th minute. Ademtos Dimitriou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iakobos Gazonas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Telis in the 27th minute of play forced Akhladhomiliá BC's goalkeeper Ademtos Dimitriou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanis Telis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademtos Dimitriou having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fthína FC's goalkeeper Thodoris Villas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leukippos Gaitanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Villas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Dimitriou in the 42nd minute of play forced Fthína FC's goalkeeper Thodoris Villas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thodoris Villas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leukippos Gaitanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Alexandros Dimitriou made the kick off in the second half. When Leukippos Gaitanis came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Akhladhomiliá BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leukippos Gaitanis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Dimitriou in the 55th minute of play forced Fthína FC's goalkeeper Thodoris Villas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademtos Dimitriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iakobos Gazonas in the 59th minute of play. Ademtos Dimitriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fanis Telis, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Akhladhomiliá BC booed when Fthína FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Antonakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leukippos Gaitanis got free with Thodoris Villas in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iakobos Gazonas in the 69th minute of play forced Akhladhomiliá BC's goalkeeper Ademtos Dimitriou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Akhladhomiliá BC's goal looked a bit too open when Koios Paitakes came free, but Ademtos Dimitriou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Akhladhomiliá BC defense, Fanis Telis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademtos Dimitriou. The Akhladhomiliá BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademtos Dimitriou should have stopped the shot. Koios Paitakes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ademtos Dimitriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iakobos Gazonas in the 81st minute of play. Fthína FC's Thodoris Villas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Dimitriou in the 84th minute of play. If Leukippos Gaitanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Briarios Calpis fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akhladhomiliá BC's protests and gave Briarios Calpis a yellow card for diving instead. If Alexandros Dimitriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Antonakos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Fthína FC's Thodoris Villas got control of the ball when Leukippos Gaitanis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 minutes of play, Fthína FC's Iakobos Gazonas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademtos Dimitriou was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fthína FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Akhladhomiliá BC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
