In the 6th minute Kyszkos Villas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khariklo Mihas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacharias Stamatas struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Zacharias Batsakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ráhcha BC. Zacharias Stamatas might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacharias Batsakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacharias Stamatas ran back to his position shaking his head. If Kyszkos Villas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ikarios Brettos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khariklo Mihas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Ikarios Brettos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khariklo Mihas having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Xanthos Pappageorge made a precise shot to the right of Khariklo Mihas. Ráhcha BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Iakobos Forakis fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ráhcha BC's protests and gave Iakobos Forakis a yellow card for diving instead. If Zacharias Stamatas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Pondokómi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacharias Stamatas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Seilenos Patselas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ráhcha BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Aktaion Petrakis's late challenge caught a Ráhcha BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aktaion Petrakis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Aktaion Petrakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ráhcha BC's Seilenos Patselas got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Aktaion Petrakis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. After 66 played minutes Pondokómi FC got a freekick which was hit by Aktaion Petrakis. After some careless play in the Pondokómi FC defense, Seilenos Patselas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacharias Batsakis. The Pondokómi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacharias Batsakis should have stopped the shot. Khariklo Mihas made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Kyszkos Villas sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Pondokómi FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ráhcha BC:s goal. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Ráhcha BC. Aigimios Latousakis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zacharias Batsakis. 3-1. Pondokómi FC's Zacharias Batsakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seilenos Patselas in the 84th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pondokómi FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ráhcha BC.
