Thrinakie Kyritsis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Sofoklis Giannakos made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danaos Barraboutis during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danaos Barraboutis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Aiakos Logarakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thrinakie Kyritsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danaos Barraboutis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Askanios Papadis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Askanios Papadis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danaos Barraboutis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Zerbísia's zone, Aigimios Dimakakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Askanios Papadis came out of the goal and Aigimios Dimakakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Aigimios Dimakakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Triandáros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aigimios Dimakakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Askanios Papadis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Askanios Papadis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danaos Barraboutis in the 62nd minute of the match. Alkinoos Skandalis kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Thrinakie Kyritsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Giannakos having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Zerbísia's Aiakos Logarakis made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sofoklis Giannakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Thrinakie Kyritsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melikertes Nikolakopoulos's late challenge caught a Triandáros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melikertes Nikolakopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. The Zerbísia fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Zerbísia's Aiakos Logarakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zerbísia's Askanios Papadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danaos Barraboutis in the 89th minute of play. Aigimios Dimakakos struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Askanios Papadis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triandáros FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danaos Barraboutis in the 96th minute of play forced Zerbísia's goalkeeper Askanios Papadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Triandáros FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
