Sozóplis's Kolkhis Fikias couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Melíngova. Inakhos Pantelakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palaimon Paraskos in the 7th minute of the match. Apostolis Karnoupakis kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Askanios Maragos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sozóplis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Askanios Maragos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Melíngova's goal looked a bit too open when Timos Dalianis came free, but Oinomoas Alatza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nykteus Giannakakos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Kolkhis Fikias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oinomoas Alatza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Askanios Maragos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oinomoas Alatza. Melíngova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Askanios Maragos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Timos Dalianis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oinomoas Alatza having to make a save. Inakhos Pantelakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palaimon Paraskos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Kimon Tassioglou struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Inakhos Pantelakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melíngova. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palaimon Paraskos in the 39th minute of play forced Sozóplis's goalkeeper Inakhos Pantelakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oinomoas Alatza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timos Dalianis's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Oinomoas Alatza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Dalianis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timos Dalianis made a kick off. If Timos Dalianis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sozóplis's Timos Dalianis got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melíngova's Oinomoas Alatza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Melíngova from getting a goal against them. Palaimon Paraskos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timos Dalianis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sozóplis's Apostolis Karnoupakis pulled a muscle in his leg after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Dinekis Papastavrou was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th minute, Dinekis Papastavrou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Kolkhis Fikias in the 71st minute really tested Oinomoas Alatza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Askanios Maragos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oinomoas Alatza having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Melíngova's Palaimon Paraskos got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Kimon Tassioglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inakhos Pantelakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kimon Tassioglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Sozóplis's goal looked a bit too open when Kimon Tassioglou came free, but Inakhos Pantelakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes Sozóplis got a freekick which was hit by Timos Dalianis. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Askanios Maragos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sozóplis's supporters rose to their feet, but Askanios Maragos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oinomoas Alatza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sozóplis's Konstantinos Sarantopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sozóplis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
