Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Octavian Popescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Lobonț prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isidoro Heriberto was slow to take the kick. During this time FC NATIONAL's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goalie and right to Octavian Popescu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Arkas Kapsimalles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Lobonț having to make a save. Bogdan Lobonț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofoklis Atsidakos's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Laganas to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Lobonț saved FC NATIONAL from getting behind. In the 24th minute Octavian Popescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Moisakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkas Kapsimalles in the 37th minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ got a corner. FC NATIONAL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teukros Nikolakakos ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the game's 40th minute ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's Teukros Nikolakakos took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Bogdan Lobonț and thus the score was 1-1. In the 47th minute, Iulian Miu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bogdan Lobonț stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofoklis Atsidakos's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Octavian Popescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC NATIONAL getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Viorel Moldovan hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC NATIONAL's Bogdan Lobonț got control of the ball when Sofoklis Atsidakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Viorel Moldovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Arkas Kapsimalles sped through FC NATIONAL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bogdan Lobonț. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sofoklis Atsidakos got free with Bogdan Lobonț in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sofoklis Atsidakos hit a great ball. Viorel Moldovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sofoklis Atsidakoss short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Bogdan Lobonț to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of FC NATIONAL booed when ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkas Kapsimalles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofoklis Atsidakos in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bogdan Lobonț, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofoklis Atsidakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akestes Bentihavas in the 87th minute of play forced ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's goalkeeper Iosif Moisakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofoklis Atsidakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Salmakis Beldekas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NATIONAL the free kick. Salmakis Beldekas hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC NATIONAL's Viorel Moldovan got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Viorel Moldovan's late challenge caught a ΑΠΕΠ ΠΙΤΣΙΛΙΑΣ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viorel Moldovan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Viorel Moldovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
