Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leonid Burak started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Leonid Burak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Grodno got a freekick which was hit by Arseny Zavadsky. Taras Kabanov struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Filimon Sidorov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bobruisk. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikhail Kudryashov got free with Vasily Charkizov in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonid Burak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filimon Sidorov having to interfere. Filimon Sidorov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonid Burak, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Bobruisk's Leonid Burak got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Grodno's Vaslav Minkevich got a free kick in the 24th minute. Yuriy Ravitsky kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Grodno's Mikhail Yarosh, in the 31st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Grodno. 35 minutes into the match, Leonid Burak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filimon Sidorov. Grodno's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonid Burak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mikhail Kudryashov scored 1-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasily Charkizov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yuriy Ravitsky during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bobruisk getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Yuriy Ravitsky hit a great ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bobruisk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fedor Potapov was slow to take the kick. During this time Grodno's players had a chance to rest. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikhail Yarosh was the one to do the kick off. 2-1 became the score in the 60th minute when Mikhail Yarosh elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nikita Liameshik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Bobruisk booed when Grodno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timofey Lukashenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anton Kuncevich during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, one of Bobruisk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mikhail Kudryashov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vasily Charkizov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mikhail Yarosh came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Grodno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikhail Yarosh couldn't finish the play. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bobruisk! Fedor Potapov shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 97 minutes in the game, Yuriy Ravitsky fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Filimon Sidorov having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grodno had won after a very even match.
