Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 9th minute Jakim Denisevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Stashonok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakim Denisevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Denis Stashonok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timofey Labanenok hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Mogilev's Denis Stashonok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakim Denisevich in the 14th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Yuriy Savoiko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mogilev and the Brest players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Mogilev got a freekick which was hit by Yuriy Savoiko. After having played for 21 minutes, Oleg Garbazevich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brest's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oleg Garbazevich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jakim Denisevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Denis Stashonok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Stashonok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakim Denisevich, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Denis Stashonok stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oleg Garbazevich's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Brest's Andrey Kanashkevich got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Mogilev's Mateush Sabanov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksandr Zhaimeko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jakim Denisevich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pilip Lishonok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mateush Sabanov was the one to do the kick off. Brest's Aleksandr Zhaimeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateush Sabanov in the 53rd minute of play. Oleg Garbazevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mogilev's zone, Jakim Denisevich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Stashonok came out of the goal and Jakim Denisevich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Jakim Denisevich got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Oleg Garbazevich who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Denis Stashonok when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mateush Sabanov struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Aleksandr Zhaimeko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogilev. In the 69th minute, one of Brest:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brest. Timofey Labanenok hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jakim Denisevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Denis Stashonok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Oleg Garbazevich made a precise shot to the right of Denis Stashonok. Mogilev's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Oleg Garbazevich sped through Mogilev's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Stashonok. 90 minutes into the match, Brest's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Lebedev came free, but Aleksandr Zhaimeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oleg Garbazevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brest's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
