Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Svetamir Filimonov kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Gorki booed when Borisov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vseslav Morozov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Svetamir Filimonov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihas Kalachyk. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Gorki's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaly Andronov came free, but Zenon Nizavets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrey Smirnov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrey Smirnov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Zenon Nizavets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Petr Dashko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st match minute, Gorki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petr Dashko to maneuver through the defense. Zenon Nizavets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Smirnov in the 33rd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Borisov's Andrey Smirnov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Nizavets was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Andrey Smirnov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 57th minute, Vasily Simanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petr Dashko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mihas Kalachyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Borisov's Zenon Nizavets threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitaly Andronov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vladimir Kalinkevich kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Petr Dashko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Mihas Kalachyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Vyacheslav Ruhov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorki and the Borisov players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gorki getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vyacheslav Ruhov hit a great ball. Andrey Smirnov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Zenon Nizavets made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Svetamir Filimonov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petr Dashko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihas Kalachyk having to interfere. If Svetamir Filimonov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 98 minutes into the match, Borisov's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Dashko came free, but Mihas Kalachyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gorki's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
