Minsk's Kirill Margashov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Minsk from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minsk's goalkeeper Kirill Margashov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trafim Mirantsov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidor Emelyanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maksim Denisevich kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sidor Emelyanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. After having played for 51 minutes, Aleksandr Petrashkevich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleksandr Petrashkevich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mechyslav Samanovich during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Mogilev:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Timur Siamashkevich kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Kirill Margashov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valery Pavlov's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Valery Pavlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirill Margashov having to interfere. Nazar Andreev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trafim Mirantsov having to interfere. The Minsk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Minsk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
