In the 20th minute, Mateush Usik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Mogilev's goalkeeper Artyom Patapchyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateush Usik. After 32 played minutes Borisov got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Nefedov. In the 33rd minute of the match Radislav Matyl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radamir Selivonchyk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vaslav Makas charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vaslav Makas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borisov fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Mogilev. Radislav Matyl stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Radamir Selivonchyk. 0-1. If Haryton Rybnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. Radamir Selivonchyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladislav Scherbakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Borisov lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
