Makar Sidarovich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Semenov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Postavi's Kazimir Smolich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergey Zhukovsky narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikola Tsarik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makar Sidarovich having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Igor Kolesnikov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Semenov in the 21st minute of play forced Postavi's goalkeeper Makar Sidarovich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergey Semenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Makar Sidarovich having to interfere. Mikola Tsarik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Makar Sidarovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Mikola Tsarik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makar Sidarovich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Postavi's Svetapolk Shabanov got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazimir Smolich got free with Sergey Zhukovsky in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
Kazimir Smolich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Makar Sidarovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergey Semenov in the 57th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Borisov fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! A collision led to Postavi getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Igor Kolesnikov hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Borisov got a freekick which was hit by Mikola Tsarik. The supporters of Borisov booed when Postavi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Erkovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borisov's Maksim Zavadsky couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Postavi. If Kazimir Smolich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Kolesnikov in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergey Zhukovsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kazimir Smolich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Postavi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borisov had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
