Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Szklow's Prohar Yakimenko started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mechyslav Fenin in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marat Lykov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Prohar Yakimenko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Lepel's zone, Stanislav Yanchyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilia Filipov came out of the goal and Stanislav Yanchyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Lepel getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sergey Yablokov hit a great ball. Ilia Filipov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prohar Yakimenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mechyslav Fenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mechyslav Fenin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marat Lykov having to interfere. When Leonid Nassonov fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szklow's protests and gave Leonid Nassonov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute Prohar Yakimenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilia Filipov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mechyslav Fenin came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lepel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mechyslav Fenin couldn't finish the play. Yaroslav Usenko scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marat Lykov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marat Lykov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mechyslav Fenin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yaroslav Usenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Lepel got a freekick which was hit by Genady Zakharov. If Lubamir Prygunov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marat Lykov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaroslav Usenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62nd minute, Mechyslav Fenin made a precise shot to the right of Marat Lykov. Szklow's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mechyslav Fenin got free with Marat Lykov in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nikanor Marchenko hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Lepel's Yaroslav Usenko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Marat Lykov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaroslav Usenko in the 73rd minute of play. When Lepel's Yaroslav Usenko in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szklow's goalie prevented a goal. Mechyslav Fenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marat Lykov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mechyslav Fenin ran back to his position shaking his head. 78 minutes into the match, Szklow's goalkeeper Marat Lykov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mechyslav Fenin. Lepel's Yaroslav Usenko got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marat Lykov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mechyslav Fenin went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislav Yanchyk in the 89th minute of play forced Lepel's goalkeeper Ilia Filipov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Lepel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genady Zakharov to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes of play, Lepel's Mechyslav Fenin made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marat Lykov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, Yaroslav Usenko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Mechyslav Fenin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Marat Lykov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lepel's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
