Kastus Mironov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arhip Maximovich's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 7 minutes, Vadim Antonenko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lida and the Bobruisk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nester Mahnach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 23rd minute, Vadim Antonenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Genady Makovsky got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kastus Mironov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakim Targovich in the 29th minute of the match. Jakim Targovich took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kastus Mironov. Kastus Mironov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 39 played minutes Lida got a freekick which was hit by Vadim Emelyanov. After a defensive mix-up in Lida's zone, Nester Mahnach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitaly Lauryk came out of the goal and Nester Mahnach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
After having played for 52 minutes, Genady Makovsky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bobruisk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genady Makovsky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 minutes, Vadim Emelyanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lida and the Bobruisk players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Genady Makovsky sped through Lida's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vitaly Lauryk. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jakim Targovich got free with Kastus Mironov in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Lida's Vseslav Asipenko tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bobruisk getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aleksandr Lukashonok hit a great ball. The Lida players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
