Kuzma Gilevich charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kuzma Gilevich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wertikal's Kuzma Gilevich got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 16th minute of the match, Oleg Savenok tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vasily Fedotov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Vasily Fedotov managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Wertikal's Kuzma Gilevich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 22 minutes, Valentin Chaplinsky mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gomel and the Wertikal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gomel's Valentin Chaplinsky got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oleg Savenok in the 28th minute of play forced Gomel's goalkeeper Vasily Fedotov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kuzma Gilevich got free with Vasily Fedotov in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Wertikal's Oleg Savenok ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vasily Fedotov. Vasily Fedotov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Wertikal's Kuzma Gilevich got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jakov Demidov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oles Dvorak in the 40th minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Lubamir Kazakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gomel and the Wertikal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lubamir Kazakov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Oleg Savenok got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Vasily Fedotov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Lelikov in the 53rd minute of play. Jakov Demidov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikita Salagub in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oles Dvorak got free with Jakov Demidov in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oles Dvorak in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakov Demidov saved Wertikal from getting behind. Nikita Salagub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jakov Demidov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gomel getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Oles Dvorak hit a great ball. Kuzma Gilevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 72 minutes of play, Wertikal's Oleg Savenok made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vasily Fedotov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 82 minutes, Kuzma Gilevich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wertikal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuzma Gilevich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Gomel's Nikita Salagub sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakov Demidov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nikita Salagub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Kuzma Gilevich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wertikal's supporters rose to their feet, but Kuzma Gilevich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasily Fedotov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vasily Fedotov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oleg Savenok went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Wertikal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gomel for a fine match.
