But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilia Loktev couldn't finish the play. Polotsk were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Minsk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladislav Yakovenko took the corner. Polotsk's Arseny Stahanovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Kachanovich in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Polotsk's goalkeeper Arseny Stahanovich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilia Loktev. 98 minutes into the match, Minsk's goal looked a bit too open when Branislav Rodionov came free, but Jakim Zizich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Minsk players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
