The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aleksey Kopat took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Stanislav Kischuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BATE Borisov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislav Kischuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Gleb Usovich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BATE Borisov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mogilev the free kick. In the 10th minute of the match Mogilev got a corner. BATE Borisov's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vasily Razumny ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jakov Belaus thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Prohar Zaboranko, a very annoying self made goal in the 10th minute which led to 1-0. A collision led to Mogilev getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Stanislav Radkevich hit a great ball. Aleksey Kopat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Rak having to make a save. Stanislav Kischuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Viktor Rak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Aleksey Kopat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mogilev's Viktor Rak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Stanislav Kischuk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stanislav Kischuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svetaslav Matvienko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Svetaslav Matvienko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mogilev's supporters rose to their feet, but Svetaslav Matvienko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prohar Zaboranko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 36 minutes, Vladimir Saltykov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogilev's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Saltykov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BATE Borisov's Prohar Zaboranko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetaslav Matvienko in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svetaslav Matvienko was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mogilev's Stanislav Radkevich got a free kick in the 57th minute. Vasily Sudarkov was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Platon Khramczankov's late challenge caught a BATE Borisov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Platon Khramczankov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mogilev getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Platon Khramczankov hit a great ball. Stanislav Kischuks short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Viktor Rak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stanislav Kischuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When BATE Borisov's Aleksey Kopat in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mogilev's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Aleksey Kopat managed to get in a good position for a shot. BATE Borisov's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksey Kopat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Rak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mogilev's Svetaslav Matvienko got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Svetaslav Matvienko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogilev's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svetaslav Matvienko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
