Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mateush Volkov kicked off to start the match. Vitebsk's Stanislav Mohnach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erofey Chepikov in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Radamir Gamanovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Mateush Volkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vitebsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateush Volkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arhip Butsevich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erofey Chepikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Stanislav Mohnach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitebsk's Mateush Volkov got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergey Vasiliev kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Apanas Diatlov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC OldSchool Minsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitebsk the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC OldSchool Minsk's Apanas Diatlov got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Jan Kovalevsky fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC OldSchool Minsk's protests and gave Jan Kovalevsky a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vitebsk booed when FC OldSchool Minsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Kovalevsky didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timur Nizovtsov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Arhip Butsevich when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arhip Butsevich made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Timur Nizovtsov sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Vitebsk booed when FC OldSchool Minsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitaly Mashkovich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimir Berozko, 50 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erofey Chepikov was the one to do the kick off. Arhip Butsevich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Nizovtsov, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Erofey Chepikov might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanislav Mohnach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erofey Chepikov ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Mateush Volkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arhip Butsevich. FC OldSchool Minsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateush Volkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 70th minute Erofey Chepikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Mohnach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Apanas Diatlov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Vitebsk's goal looked a bit too open when Erofey Chepikov came free, but Stanislav Mohnach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erofey Chepikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Vitebsk's goalkeeper Stanislav Mohnach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apanas Diatlov. Apanas Diatlov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC OldSchool Minsk booed when Vitebsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timur Nizovtsov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, FC OldSchool Minsk's goal looked a bit too open when Mateush Volkov came free, but Arhip Butsevich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC OldSchool Minsk's zone, Timur Nizovtsov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arhip Butsevich came out of the goal and Timur Nizovtsov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mateush Volkov came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Vitebsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateush Volkov couldn't finish the play.
