After 17 played minutes Utenos FC got a freekick which was hit by Erofey Raskazov. Petr Ignatovich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Astap Mironov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasily Zhukov scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aleksandr Nikalaenok, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aleksandr Nikalaenok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichypar Esipenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Zhlobin booed when Utenos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erofey Raskazov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhlobin's Vladislav Sidarovich shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 32nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Astap Mironov but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Utenos FC's Astap Mironov got control of the ball when Petr Ignatovich tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Valery Mihaluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astap Mironov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Utenos FC's Vasily Zhukov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksandr Nikalaenok narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petr Ignatovich in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astap Mironov saved Utenos FC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Utenos FC's zone, Petr Ignatovich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astap Mironov came out of the goal and Petr Ignatovich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Utenos FC's Ruslan Barodin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksandr Nikalaenok narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Zhlobin fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Zhlobin's Petr Ignatovich looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruslan Barodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valery Mihaluk in the 90th minute of play forced Utenos FC's goalkeeper Astap Mironov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Petr Ignatovich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
